The great fly-fishing event is held every year, at the third weekend of September in Zwierzyń. The Vision Fly Fishing Festival is organized by Vision Poland from Krakow in collaboration with the local society of Zwierzyń and the Municipality of Olszanica. The San River with its clean and clear, full of fish water attracts the fishermen from all over Poland and even the world. The special segment of the San River is 8 km long. The only method of fishing allowed here is “artificial bow”. There is the principle “Catch and release”. An extensive programme of the festival includes lots of attractions with master using fishing rods shows and musical performances. Local agritourism farms and the Housewives Club of Zwierzyń serve regional food.
